Suwanee's fall calendar is split between two parks. The big ticketed events still happen at Town Center Park, at Buford Highway and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. The weekly routine happens across the pedestrian tunnel at Town Center on Main, home to the farmers market, the Suwanee Circle food trucks and the car show. Between now and mid-November, a handful of Saturdays use both sides on the same day. Those are the dates to plan around.
This setup is newer than it feels. The City opened Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park in 2024 on a 25-acre site at Suwanee Dam Road and Main Street. Suwanee bought that land back in 2002 and approved the master plan in 2016. Suwanee Circle held its grand opening on March 28, 2026. Main Street Park, a little farther up Main Street, reopened on August 1. This is the first fall with all of it open.
What Sits on Each Side
Town Center Park has the open lawn, the Big Splash Interactive Fountain, public art and the event venues that host the city's large celebrations. Every ticketed or race-format event on this fall's city calendar is held there.
Go through the tunnel and you reach Town Center on Main, a roughly 13-acre urban park with volleyball courts, the Greater Good veterans memorial and a 1,200-foot bridge that spans the park. Next to it is DeLay Nature Park, roughly 15 wooded acres along Brushy Creek. The half-mile Brushy Creek Greenway runs through it from Stonecypher Road to Suwanee Dam Road. PlayTown Suwanee, the recently rebuilt playground that covers almost an acre, sits beside it.
Suwanee Circle is on this side too, at 421 Main Street. The City lists its hours as 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It has a large outdoor bar, TVs for game days, a small stage for acoustic sets and rotating food trucks. The island bar serves frozen margaritas and canned cocktails. A separate beverage station has dirty sodas, refreshers and lattes. Music Bingo comes up regularly on its event listings. The City's hours page has no update date, and the trucks change every week. Check the lineup on Suwanee Circle's website or @SuwaneeCircle on social media before you go, especially as the evenings cool off.
October 17 Is the First Day Both Sides Run at Once
The third Saturday of October has three events in overlapping time slots, split across the tunnel:
- 8 a.m. to noon, Suwanee Farmers Market at Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park.
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Spooky Spirits 5K at Town Center Park. This is the fifth year. It's a timed race that qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race and comes with a cocktails-and-costumes theme. You can buy a "non-stop" ticket or one with Spirit stops along the course. The team behind Suwanee Wine Fest runs it.
- Noon to 8 p.m., Vendor Vibe Market at Suwanee Circle. Expect curated craft vendors and artists, food trucks, dessert vendors, live music and the outdoor bar.
Laid out that way, the day passes from one event to the next. Shop the market in the morning. The 5K starts across the tunnel an hour before the market closes. The Circle's market opens while runners are still finishing and runs into the evening. If you keep a costume on from the race, you're dressed for the rest of the day, and you never have to move the car.
The Next Two Saturdays End the Summer Market
The farmers market keeps its summer hours, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, for two more weeks after that.
On October 24, the market runs in the morning on the Main Street side. Then the action moves back to Town Center Park for Dinner & a BOOvie from 5 to 10 p.m. The evening has merchant trick-or-treating, food vendors, games and a double-feature movie. When the City last updated the event page, it hadn't named the movies or vendors yet. Check again closer to the date.
Saturday, October 31 is the last summer market of 2026. The city calendar also lists a Walk to End Alzheimer's starting at 8:30 a.m. that day.
November 7 Moves the Market Earlier and Shortens It
The farmers market changes its schedule one week later. It stays at the same address but runs on fewer days and for fewer hours.
| Summer market | Winter Farmers Market | |
|---|---|---|
| Last or first date | Saturday, October 31 | Saturday, November 7 |
| Hours | 8 a.m. to noon | 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. |
| How often | Every Saturday | Twice a month, November through April |
| Location | Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park, 421 Main Street | Same |
A four-hour weekly window becomes a two-hour window every other week. If you're used to arriving at 11:30, you'll miss it now. The City says the winter tables carry lettuces, greens, potatoes, carrots and Brussels sprouts, along with baked goods, canned items and meats. Most vendors take cards and cash.
The first winter market falls on the same morning as the season's biggest ticketed event. The 13th annual Suwanee Wine Festival opens at noon at Town Center Park, an hour after the market closes across the tunnel. The organizers also run the Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest. They promise more than 150 wines picked by TopShelf Beverage, a Georgia winery tasting section, live music, local artisans and food from area restaurants and trucks. Guests who don't drink wine can get ready-to-drink cocktails, seltzers and beer.
For families, the Wine Fest rules matter more than the wine list. The festival is 21 and older only, with no babies in strollers and no pets. If your household goes to the morning market with a stroller or a dog, finish that part of the day before noon. After that, the PlayTown and Greenway side of the tunnel is the one that welcomes kids and dogs.
The Main Street Side Hosts November 8, Then the Calendar Moves Back
The next morning, Sunday, November 8, the Suwanee Classic Car Show takes over Town Center on Main from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The City says up to 180 cars may register. For one weekend, the lawns, the bridge and the Circle are set up around rows of parked cars.
On November 14, the calendar returns to Town Center Park. The Suwanee Arts Center hosts Art on the Run, the Suwanee Turkey Trot 5K, from 9 a.m. to noon. The City describes it as a family-friendly, Thanksgiving-themed race with crafts and activities for all ages. Unlike Wine Fest, this one is open to all ages, so you can bring the stroller and get the kids moving before the holiday meal.
A Third Stop Up Main Street
The same Main Street that runs past Town Center on Main continues into Old Town, where Main Street Park has just been through a full renovation. The half-acre park at 687 Main Street sits beside the red caboose. It was first built in the late 1990s with help from a Community Development Block Grant.
The renovation began in January and finished with an August 1 ribbon cutting that included a performance by Sweet Georgia Brass. The park now has a new steel-framed pavilion, a central lawn where a circular concrete-and-brick plaza used to be, more sidewalks and seating, expanded parking and a rebuilt basketball court. The court surface carries Momentum, a mural of a basketball in motion designed by Annabel Joyner. Community volunteers painted it with the nonprofit Art in the Paint. The Burnette-Rogers Pavilion, dedicated in December 1999 to longtime public servants Minnie Rogers and James Burnette Sr., is still the park's focal point.
Pierce's Corner at 597 Main Street is nearby. In June 2025, the Suwanee Downtown Development Authority announced BOCA Taqueria for that building and projected a spring 2026 opening. The plan is a modern Mexican restaurant and bar on the first floor and a chef-led Latin Omakase upstairs. The City's construction page still lists the building as being renovated for a restaurant, and no specific opening day has been announced. For now, it isn't one of this fall's stops.
The full list of fall dates is on the City of Suwanee's community events page. Venues are listed there by park name, which makes it easy to see which side of the tunnel each event uses.
If you're thinking about how close your street is to Town Center Park, the tunnel and Main Street, we can help.
